Tyler Cameron and Paige Lorenze are no longer an item. Just weeks after dating, the “The Bachelorette” alum announced that they had come to the mutual decision to call it quits.
Cameron and Lorenze only made their relationship public in July. After they were spotted together over the Fourth of July weekend, a source noted that a romance had blossomed between the two. “They hang out together whenever they can,” the insider told Page Six at the time. “It’s not a full-blown, serious relationship because they’re in different cities a lot, but they enjoy it.”
Cameron confirmed in an interview with E! that he actually has his eye on someone! News. “I’m dating someone, seeing someone now and, you know, it’s fresh, it’s new and it’s a lot,” he said. “Relationships mean a lot of learning and a lot of understanding and we’re going through that and it’s been great. It’s been fun so far. We’ll see where it all goes.” Unfortunately, the relationship ended too soon too soon when Cameron revealed they had split just three weeks after going public.
Tyler Cameron and Paige Lorenze agreed to ‘take a step back’
Tyler Cameron and Paige Lorenze realized very early in their relationship that they weren’t ready for anything serious. Speaking to E! News, Cameron admitted the two have decided to split, and it’s all because of bad timing.
“Tell you what…we just had to take a step back,” Cameron admitted. “It wasn’t the right timing… We’re back [to], you know, no more dates, we’re doing our own thing right now. We both have a lot of respect and love for each other, but right now is just not the right time for either of us.”
Meanwhile, Lorenze confirmed the split was completely amicable and admitted she’s too busy to focus on maintaining a relationship. “I’m more career focused than ever and my priority has to be my clothing brand and my career — and I need to be in NYC for that right now,” she said in a statement, per Us Weekly. “I’ve always made such major adjustments in my partners’ lives in the past, but right now I’m focused on myself.” Cameron is also on the same page. “I can’t figure it out,” he said when asked why he was single. “I guess just too much on my plate.”
