Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin have been married for 25 years, but lately there have been rumors of trouble in paradise. According to Entertainment Tonight, the couple recently celebrated a big anniversary in May and seemed to be in a good place. In fact, Stallone even posted to Instagram, writing, “There aren’t enough words to describe what this incredibly selfless, dedicated, patient woman has meant to our lives and I only wish they could be another 25!” Flavin also posted on the platform and said: “Our marriage gets better every year! I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.”
Stallone and Flavin have three daughters together: Sistine, Scarlet and Sophia. And while she seemed head over heels in love just a few months ago, a recent act got some fans’ antennae going up. According to Page Six, on Aug. 23, Stallone decided to cover up his wife’s tattoo of the dog from the “Rocky” movies. He posted the new tattoo on Instagram but deleted the picture shortly after it started attracting attention.
Flavin then followed Stallone on Instagram via the Daily Mail. His publicist told the outlet that the covered-up tattoo, which has led to divided rumors, was all a misunderstanding and that the actor had to cover up his wife’s face because the original tattoo was simply “unfixable.” However, a new report reveals there’s a lot more to the story than that.
Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin are reportedly getting divorced
After Sylvester Stallone posted that he covered up his tattoo wife Jennifer Flavin, it became clear that something might be wrong between the couple. Although the rumors were initially denied by Stallone’s publicist, an exclusive report from Closer Weekly says otherwise. Flavin has officially filed for divorce from Stallone in Florida after 25 years of marriage, according to the outlet.
It’s unclear when or why the couple decided to split, although Flavin seemingly cast shade at Stallone in an Instagram post earlier this month. Captioning a photo of her with her three daughters, she captioned: “These girls are my priority, nothing else matters. The four of us forever.” That post also turned some heads, as it didn’t seem like the breakup was entirely amicable.
TMZ reports that Flavin has asked to stay exclusively at her Palm Beach home during the divorce proceedings, and even believes Stallone is hiding “marital fortune.” Documents obtained by TMZ reveal that Flavin said, “To the best of my knowledge, the husband engaged in the willful squandering, depletion and/or squandering of marital property which had an adverse economic impact on the marital estate.” would also like to change her last name back to Flavin. Fans will have to wait to find out what really went wrong between Stallone and Flavin, which has led to the former model seemingly abruptly ending their 25-year marriage.
