It appears Stassi Schroeder is still clinging to the drama that surrounded their wedding months ago. Schroeder has tied the knot again with her husband Beau Clark in Rome after their dream wedding was postponed due to the pandemic, according to Page Six. Bravo was supposed to pay for the bash before Schroder was fired from ‘Vanderpump Rules’ for racist behavior. As a result, the former reality star’s guest list had to be trimmed and only included a few of her former co-stars. One couple that made it was Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor. However, they could not make it to the wedding due to various reasons.
In June, Cartwright said on the Betches Moms podcast (via Us Weekly): “We had actual reasons why we couldn’t go that weren’t talked about [my son] Cruz’s passport didn’t come through, my mother had a death in the family and had to go home.” Though Cartwright apologized and sent her well wishes, Schroeder didn’t respond to calls or texts, and it was clear there was serious drama in progress.
A few Vanderpump Rules stars, including Scheana Shay, have been left out of the party amid rumors of budget cuts. Cartwright recently joined Shay on her Scheananigans podcast earlier this month in a bid to sort out the drama, but it only seemed to be making things worse.
Stassi Schroeder has yet to forgive Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor
Things got messy when Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor pulled out of attending Stassi Schroeder’s wedding in Rome. Cartwright couldn’t get a response from Schroeder, who was, and apparently still is, very upset with her former co-star and boyfriend. Aside from Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney, Cartwright and Taylor were the only other “VPR” grads invited to the intimate event, according to Page Six. Recently, Cartwright spoke to Scheana Shay on her podcast about the situation and revealed that she had reached out to Schroeder again after the wedding, although she had never heard from her.
“I’ve reached out since the wedding and said, ‘Everything is so beautiful and I hope that one day we can talk and I’m so sorry for how things went,’ and I haven’t received a response yet.” said Cartwright (via Us Weekly). She also explained that she sent money to Schroeder to cover her and Jax’s plate in the affair, which Shay called “expensive” during the segment.
However, Shay recently revealed to Us Weekly that the podcast on Cartwright “backfired” and potentially made things worse. After the broadcast, Schroeder returned the money to Cartwright and left a note that read “Scheananigans Podcast”. Both Schroeder and Cartwright will not appear in season 10 of Vanderpump Rules, so fans will need to stay tuned to social media to see how things pan out.
