Raquel Leviss first joined the cast of Vanderpump Rules as a friend of SUR DJ James Kennedy, but quickly found her own place as SUR waitress and friend of the cast. Kennedy and Leviss dated for five years before getting engaged on the reality show last year, according to People. Their relationship seemed to be in a good place, but Leviss ended up having second thoughts about marrying the DJ. During the reunion of season 9’s “Vanderpump Rules,” the former couple announced that they had broken off their engagement.
In December 2021, Leviss shared the news with fans on Instagram. In the caption of a selfie with Kennedy, she wrote: “After those 5 wonderful years we had together, we decided we had two different goals and made the decision to break off the engagement,” she continued, “we love each other very much but we don’t love each other anymore.”
Less than three months after their split, Kennedy posted a video of him kissing a mystery woman on the cheek in Las Vegas, captioned “Baby Girl” (via Page Six). The woman was later identified as Ally Lewber, Kennedy’s current girlfriend. Lewber has been dating the reality star for months as Kennedy is constantly posting with her on social media. Leviss, on the other hand, appeared to be enjoying single life after her engagement ended. And recently she revealed that she has casually dated one of her co-stars.
Raquel Leviss has met with Peter Madrigal
After her split from James Kennedy, Raquel Leviss went on a few dates with one of her Vanderpump Rules co-stars, Peter Madrigal. While the duo has been spending some time together lately, Leviss revealed she’s still enjoying the single life in Los Angeles. Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules is currently filming and will capture the reality star’s life as a single woman for the first time.
Leviss recently told Us Weekly, “I think it was more like just saying yes to him to ask me and just give it a go,” she continued, “I don’t want a relationship. I don’t want anything serious. I’m just a single girl in LA doing my thing.” She also revealed that she had spoken to Kennedy’s new girlfriend, Ally Lewber, adding that she really likes them and wishes them well.
In April, Leviss took to Katie Maloney’s You’ll Love Me podcast and announced that she was on a friendly date with Madrigal, which was her first date since their split and engagement ended (via People). It’s unclear if the VPR star is dating someone else by any chance or will of course see how Madrigal continues. Fans can look forward to seeing how everything unfolds in Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules.
