Keeping up with the Kardashians isn’t that hard considering their active social media presences, their reality show, and the fact that a news story about the family appears about once an hour. On the other hand, it is still possible to go wrong and believe rumors about reality.
For example, there have been many questions about an Instagram account allegedly owned by Kourtney Kardashian’s eldest child, 12-year-old Mason Disick. The account has been busy peddling all manner of tea, including implying that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are dating, according to E! News, and is reportedly set to reveal the real name of Jenner and Scott’s son, according to Capital FM. (The Mason report says his name is Knight Jacques, which sounds plausible.)
Then again, the famous family members are magnets for social media shenanigans, and it doesn’t seem likely that Kourtney Kardashian would allow her 12-year-old to have his own Instagram without her supervision, does it?
Kourtney Kardashian says the Instagram accounts are fake
Well, according to Kourtney Kardashian’s (verified) Twitter account, the Instagram accounts allegedly belonging to Mason Disick are fake. “Hi everyone, I hope it’s going to be a nice Thursday,” Kardashian said tweeted On July 21st about our family.”
Honestly, we probably all should have known better. Finally, Mason is known for his responsible use of social media. When his cousin North West went live on TikTok without permission, Mason turned to his aunt Kim Kardashian for some wise advice. Kim posted screenshots of the lyrics to her Instagram Stories (via BuzzFeed) which read, “Hi I don’t want to disrespect North but I don’t think she should be doing the Lives unless someone is with her because people are always taking screen shots and she might tell information that isn’t correct and stuff like that that she’ll regret.”
See? The real Mason Disick would never do that.
