Everything we know about Season 2 of RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race

Celebrities, start your engines! Secret Celebrity Drag Race officially returns to bless our TVs for a second glamorous season.

After more than a decade of expanding the RuPaul’s Drag Race empire to franchises around the world, executive producer RuPaul decided to create a different kind of competition show. The star-studded cast then enters a challenge to select the top performing celebrity to win $100,000 for charity. SCDR premiered in its first season in 2020 and the cast was full of queer and allied icons; including singer/actress Hayley Kiyoko, pop singer Madison Beer and comedian Loni Love.

Now, the All-Star program returns for Season 2, and in a surprise rule change, a celebrity will be crowned America’s Next Celebrity Drag Race Superstar at the end of the season. “Honestly, [‘SCDR’] was more real than ‘drag race,'” season one drag mentor Trixie Mattel told HuffPost. “These celebrities don’t perform. They have authentic, transformative human experiences ahead of us.” So what awaits us in the illustrious second season?
